Jackal House

Jackal House is a publishing & broadcasting project of Haus Anubis, including both this blog and the hot monthly subscriber newsletter. We also have a twitter, and there are occasional print publications and physical events.

The blog is updated as frequently as our productivity and whim dictates (that’s a lot). Enjoy our occasionally-but-often-not Work Safe free content, and subscribe or donate to Jackal House to keep Haus Anubis Jackal-y. And House-y.

Much of the material posted on the Jackal House blog will be of a fairly adult nature, but the really risqué and awesome stuff we save for the newsletter, which we aim to deliver around the third weekend of each month, direct to your inbox (but only if you are a current subscriber, we’re big on consent around here).

The revenue from the web presence goes to the contributors and the house, with 25% of the pertinent month’s total subscription going to special guest contributors. We’re not exactly living large on this project, and we still work shitty day-jobs. We value our supporters and contributors, so all the Jackal House revenue goes to keeping Jackal House running.

Haus Anubis are constantly challenging each others’ comfort zones and pushing ourselves to think more deeply and strangely. We explore and eviscerate, with equal enthusiasm, anything and everything we find interesting at the time. Subjects you might encounter in both the blog and the newsletter include classical mythology, sex and sexuality, pop culture, social and cultural structures, identity, and wine. We like subversive ideas and wine. Also kitties. And wine. And beer. But especially wine.
